Hindi film, Ishqiya with was debut directed by Abhishek Chaubey will be screened at the 34th Cairo International Film Festival, which will be held on November 30 to December 9. The highly-acclaimed drama has already been presented at a number of film festivals around the world, including the Munich Film Festival, Melbourne Film Festival and the Indian Film Festival of London.
Featuring Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi, it was co-produced by Vishal Bharadwaj and Shemaroo Entertainment.
In a press statement, Shemaroo Entertainment’s Hiren Gada says, “We are getting an overwhelming response from our people worldwide. The film already participated in around five international film festivals and is appreciated by all.”
