The beautiful dimpled smile has been missing from our screens for quite some time with occasional special appearances in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and in last Friday’s release Main Aur Mrs Khanna, but at last the wait for Preity fans is over as the talented actresses finally puts an end to her rejuvenating holiday and returns to good-ol’-Mumbai!
Given her extensive holidaying the rumour mill was working overtime and reported that she’d supposedly migrated from India. Speaking about this atrocious accusation to Mid-Day, the actress said, “I haven’t migrated to the US or any other country. I’m not going anywhere. Mumbai is my home and I am working here. I took a much-needed break after the IPL.”
Although stress seems to have crept right up on her the moment she stepped into India as now Preity has to deal with re-doing her house as whilst she was away the bubbly actress’s home was robbed by none other than her domestic help. “They took money and some jewelery. My mother came to Mumbai, spotted the theft and reported it immediately. It was her money that they took.” So we guess that Preity must now be on the hunt for a more reliable and much needed domestic help!
But setting aside all this side talk, the actress decided to talk business straight forward to the media upon her return. “I’m listening to some really interesting projects. Hopefully, I’ll be signing a couple of films shortly. That would shut those up who want to write me off. Seriously, I’ve come back, rejuvenated and charged and raring to go.”
Now what will she sign and what she won’t will be a breaking news headline for sure in the coming weeks and of course this moment in Preity’s career is one hell of a nail biting moment for all her fans and observers as everyone is more than intrigued to find out just what steps this actress takes for her much anticipated comeback.
