As we reported, the release for Jodhaa-Akbar is set for October 12th and everything is on schedule. The entire team is working at full speed and extremely hard to get everything completed. The film directed by Ashutosh Gowariker is a massive epic that encompasses an incredible story, as well as a cast of hundreds of actors and even animals.

The film is in post-production now and the editing and dubbing stages have begun. In fact they are going on at the same time.

Gowariker says, “I’m currently editing the film in Mumbai. It’s not an easy task.” The editing process is very involved and difficult because of the vast canvas of the film but he is up to the challenge.

The dubbing stage has also begun and since there is such a huge cast, the team has supervised every actor big and small to make sure the Urdu pronunciation is flawless and the dialogues are correct. Even Hrithik and Aishwarya have had to work extra hard to please the director’s standards. Aishwarya is completing shooting in Hyderabad and is doing her dubbing there, while Hrithik is completing his in Mumbai.

Gowariker’s film is said to be a masterpiece in the making and only a masterpiece can be created if the artist is exact in his ideas and work. We look forward to seeing the magnum opus and cannot wait until October 12th!
