For those of you who did not get the chance to see Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Ashutosh Gowariker’s masterpiece of a film, Jodhaa Akbar, on the big screen your wait is almost over. BIG Music & Home Entertainment has acquired the rights to release the film on DVD and VCD and are planning to have it in stores very soon.
Kulmeet Makkar, the CEO of BIG Music said, “We have always believed in the power of content. Jodhaa Akbar is a great example of lot of creative and talented people coming together. The treatment is excellent, a novel subject, superb casting and great performances – the movie is grand on every scale. It is not only a masterpiece but a case study in film making.”
Adding, “Now we are going to bring it on home video so that cinema lovers can enjoy the larger-than-life experience of this historical saga in their homes. The DVDs and VCDs of the movie will be in the market in a couple of weeks.”
