South star Harshvardhan Rane is already creating quite a buzz as he makes his Bollywood debut in Radhika Rao-Vinay Sapru’s Sanam Teri Kasam. But not many know that the hunky actor is actually John Abraham’s find and the Bolly star’s production Satra Ko Shaadi Hai was to mark Harshvardhan’s entry in B-Town. In fact, Harshvardhan had even completed shooting for SKSH. But now with Sanam Teri Kasam releasing first, the romantic musical will become his debut film in Bollywood.
When contacted about this, Harshvardhan confirms that he had shot for John’s film before Sanam Teri Kasam, but shares that STK marking his debut in Bollywood has not caused any bad blood between him and John. “John sir has been most gracious about it. Whether I debut in his film or not is not even an issue between us. He is happy for me and even congratulated me, wishing for the film’s success,” says the actor.
Harshvardhan’s fresh pairing with Mawra Hocane already seems to be making quite an impact, with the film’s recently trailer getting a thumbs-up from trade and the masses, as well as the industry folks. The film’s music scored by Himesh Reshammiya is also the highlight and has hit home with music lovers across.
