10 years into his career, actor/producer John Abraham says if it wasn’t for the audience, he would’ve left after Jism back in 2003.
“It has been more that 10 years now. My producers tell me, ‘You have at least 10 more years and probably the better 10 years’,” he said.
“The audience has always been my godfather, my strongest force and they keep me going. When I came into the industry at the time of Jism, I thought I am going to be here only for three months and I will have to go back,” the 40-year-old said.
Currently shooting his new film I, Me Aur Main John says that “It is a slice-of-life film. Like there was Wake Up Sid, (it is in a) completely different space, but a very real film. According to me, most of the women in the world will relate to this film. Your mother or sister or anyone will say, ‘I have met a man like him in real life’,”
John will be busy with his productions Hamara Bajaj and Madras Café. He will next be seen in Shootout at Wadala.
