John Abraham is all set to turn producer with the launch of his production house, J A Entertainment Pvt Ltd.
Vicky Donor will be the first film John will produce, in association with Rising Suns Films Pvt Ltd. Shoojit Sircar, who is best known for directing the film Yahaan, will direct the film.
John spoke to the media about why he will not star in the movie. He said, “It was a conscious decision to not act in my first production because I believe producing a film is about creating quality content that I believe in.”
According to sources, John wants the movie to have international appeal. The source told the media, “John is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring his home productions have production values at par with international standards. He is already in talks with technicians in LA.”
John will next be seen on the big screen alongside Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone in the film Desi Boyz, set to release on November 25th 2011.
