Recently, John Abraham launched a unique campaign for his upcoming film, Jhootha Hi Sahi. It was unique because he gave out his personal number and his fans could call and he would talk to them. Cool na?
However, John is completely overwhelmed because 2 lakh odd people have signed up for the ‘Call John’ campaign. He gets up to 7000 messages everyday. Even while he is taking the calls from his fans, he continuously gets second calls. Seems, John is very upset that he cannot answer all the calls his fans have been making to him.
Says a source close to John Abraham, “John can at the most talk to 4 to 5 of the calls. So he is very upset that he has not been able to do justice to all the fans who have been calling him.”
In fact, John is very touched by the overwhelming response to the ‘Call John’ campaign, and therefore he is very keen to attend to as many calls as possible, he feels he owes it to all the fans that have been eagerly waiting to talk to their favourite star.
The heart throb is so upset with the inability to answer calls from his fans that he has asked producer Madhu Mantena to figure something out and find a solution, so that he John can get to the maximum amount of calls he can. Says Madhu Mantena, “Yes, it is true that John has asked me to find a solution so that he can attend more calls, we are working on it, hopefully soon more fans will get to talk to John.”
We say YAY John, it’s really nice to know when stars are so keen on keeping the promises they make to their fans.
Jhootha Hi Sahi is a romantic comedy, directed by Abbas Tyrewala, starring John Abraham and Pakhi. It is set to release on the 22nd of October.
