Blogging has become the next big thing within the film fraternity. Everyone from Amitabh Bachchan to Aamir Khan has taken to the blog and Karan Johar is doing just the same. After being M.I.A from regularly blogging, he finally found a minute to log on and thank his fans for the success of Dostana. He went on to talk about the “taboo” that is associated with homosexuals. He further went on to say that the main idea behind Dostana, just like any of his other flicks, is to entertain. Johar Jr. went on to mention that the movie has been received positively, but he does have a few critics who insist on panning his movies to which he turns a deaf ear and has another cup of coffee. The movie was shown to the gay community in the city of Bombay and was a rage with them as they “laughed and laughed, cried and left the cinema hall gratified.”
If you haven’t already seen the movie, you better hop to it because the staff of Dharma Production, we are told, have already taken their friends and family numerous times now. The music too seems to be playing on repeat at K. Jo’s office. As he signs off, he is quick to mention that he is travelling to Philadelphia his latest production starring Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Vivek Oberoi is about to start rolling.
It seems that Karan Johar is on a high from Dostana but ready to rock-n-roll into his next venture. Watch this space for more from Karan’s blog.
