Kajol and her mother, Tanuja will be reunited onscreen after their last venture, Rahul Rawail’s Bekhudi in 1992, which was actually Kajol’s debut film. The person responsible for bringing mum and daughter together is actor-producer, Ajay Devgn, in his forthcoming film, Toonpur Ka Superhero (TKS) releasing during Christmas 2010.
Directed by Kireet Khurana and scripted by Raaghi Bhatnagar, TKS is an animated action comedy which will revolve around Aditya, a superhero (Devgn) and his wife Priya (Kajol). Their children want him to be a superhero not just in reel life, but in real life too! Aditya then finds himself in Toonpur where he finds himself fighting against Toonasurs (bad toons) to save the Devtoons (good toons).
This film also brings married couple Ajay and Kajol together after his directorial debut, U Me Aur Hum. They acted in several films before including Hulchul, Gundaraj, Pyar To Hona Hi Tha, Dil Kya Kare and Raju Chacha.
