As BollySpice recently reported, Kal Kissne Dekha has found itself in a pot of hot soup. Producer Vashu Bhagnani and director Vivek Sharma’s relationship has hit an all time low with the duo coming to loggerheads very recently. According to sources, “They’ve been having problems for a long time. As Vashu’s son is making his sliver screen debut, he didn’t want to compromise in any department and has been spending money freely on the project. The director apparently decided to take advantage of Vashu’s spending spree and tried to make money off it.”
The director was signed by Puja Films for 61 lakhs post the success of Bhootnath. Sharma had been given almost all his dues with only a mere 10 lakhs left to be paid. However, Sharma went ahead and served Bhagnani a court notice informing him that he was actually signed for 91 lakhs. And since the film would be releasing in the coming week, his outstanding payment was due immediately. The showdown occurred in the producer’s office who quickly went on to tell Sharma, “He made over 30 films as a producer and never in his wildest dreams would he think of paying almost a crore to a flop director.” According to sources, the situation went from bad to worse with Bhagnani slapping Sharma.
However, while Vivek Sharma denied the slap, he did go on to claim, “I am going to expose Vashu and the myth that he is a wonderful producer. I am dragging him to court but I had no other option.” Vashu Bhagnani refused to comment.
Jackky Bhagnani however, did exclusively comment for BollySpice. “It’s unfortunate how people blackmail you after taking money to extract more money out of you,” the debutant stated.
