As rumours continue that the suspected LeT terrorist, David Coleman Headley, met a whole slew of Bollywood personalities whilst using Rahul Bhatt‘s gym in Mumbai, including Emraan Hashmi, Aarti Chhabria and Tara Sharma; Kangana Ranaut has rushed to deny any personal links with the American. “My daughter, Kangana, has no links with Lashkar aide David Headley,” says her father Amardeep, “She never met nor spoke to Headley. We are really disturbed that such allegations have been levelled against her.”

Meanwhile, Kangana’s high-budget movie Kites with Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori is receiving a second edit – this time by X-Men 3 director Brett Ratner – in order to make it seemingly more presentable to a western audience. It’s very likely the western version will be much shorter than the three hour Hindi version. Speaking of the link between Hollywood and Bollywood on the movie, elder statesman Rajan Zed suggests, “Since these two world’s biggest moviemaking centres control the psyche of a large populace of the world, this might result in world coming closer together.”

Kangana is currently working hard on a number of movies including Once Upon A Time in Mumbai and No Problem. It’s likely that her work will mean she will have to miss the New Year celebrations with her family. “Kangana is busy with back-to-back shoots and she is finding it incredibly taxing to shoot for one project and then suddenly move over to the next film which is also on the floors,” explains a source,”Kangana likes to get into the character and stay in it until the time the project ends. But with lots of work on hand, she has no choice but to push herself to the hilt to get into one character shoot and then take her out of that space and get herself in the shoes of another character.”
