Riding high on the success of ‘Baby Doll’ – British singer Kanika Kapoor has done us proud by winning the Best Female Playback singer at the coveted 60th Britannia Filmfare award ceremony.
Picking up one of the most-respected awards in the industry made her very emotional, she said, “This moment is very special for me. Last year, I was just a happy mom to three beautiful kids – today I stand here with my kids exclaiming – we’re so proud of you mom! I’m glad to be part of an industry that is so supportive to new talent. To each and everyone that made this possible – thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
Kanika has been doing exceedingly well since her entry into Bollywood in 2014, giving us some of the best dance anthems in the industry.
