In a special video recorded for Visit Britain, filmmaker Karan Johar talks about Britain and his love for London.
The My Name is Khan director shot his second directorial Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, the second highest grossing Bollywood film in the UK, in the British capital.
The 40-year-old Indian celebrity has been officially invited by Visit Britain to attend the opening ceremony of the London Olympics.
Karan also visits London often for Holidays. In fact, he even put together the story of his debut film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in London, sitting on a bench outside John Lewis on Oxford Street.
In the video, Johar says, “I believe that the country, Britain, has a certain soul celluloid cannot capture. You have to be there to experience it.”
