Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’s accolades and success continues! Rocky and Rani and their love story will soon be screened at a very prestigious film festival.
Directed by Karan Johar and featuring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, RRKPK has been selected for this year’s Busan International Film Festival.
The film will screen as part of the official selection in the Open Cinema Section of the prestigious film festival. The Open Cinema section presents a collection of “new and internationally acclaimed films that offer an ideal mix of the popular with the artistic” cinema. The 28th Busan International Film Festival will take place in Busan, South Korea, from 4th-13th October 2023.
The film marked Johar’s return to the director’s seat after seven years during his 25th anniversary year of working in the global entertainment industry.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is a huge hit globally and received rave reviews both from critics and audiences, especially the outstanding performances by the entire cast of Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, alongside veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.
A quintessential Karan Johar entertainer with a social message, the film has grossed over $20M internationally and is the second highest grossing Indian film overseas post-pandemic.
