A few weeks ago it was announced that Kareena Kapoor may be joining the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan in Madame Tussauds, however this news was never officially confirmed.
Madame Tussauds has now confirmed that Kareena Kapoor will have a wax model made that will be unveiled in Madame Tussauds latest venue in Blackpool, England.
Director of Global Marketing at Madame Tussauds, Nicky Marsh, confirmed the news to the media saying, “we are delighted to announce this exciting new Madame Tussauds Bollywood experience and to confirm that Kareena Kapoor will be the next Indian film star to be immortalised in wax.”
Nicky Marsh also confirmed that Bollywood fans will be given a “chance to meet their favourite stars in wax” as Kareena’s figure will be touring the world. The wax model will be unveiled in Blackpool in September and will then move to Bangkok in January before transferring to Hong Kong, Hollywood, Las Vegas, Washington DC, Berlin, Amsterdam, Vienna and finally London.
