Ms Bebo herself, Kareena Kapoor is set follow Malaika Arora Khan’s footsteps and do an item number for the Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha starrer, Rowdy Rathore. This will be a first for Ms Chote Nawaab, as she has not done a single item number during the span of her successful career. Bollywood’s highest paid actress is also reported to be appearing in a couple of scenes in addition to her item number. An exclusive still of Bebo from the untitled item number can be seen below.
Designer-turned-producer, Shabinaa Khan is a good friend of the superstar and is working as the co-producer with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his first venture into the action genre. At Khan’s request Kareena didn’t hesitate to say yes to the item number. Reportedly, Kareena doesn’t want any money for the special appearance, showing just how much Shabinaa’s friendship means to her.
About working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the newly turned producer states, “Sanjay gave me all the freedom as a producer. He is one of the nicest co-producers in the industry. I did the entire film. My involvement with the film was right from the beginning – from location hunting till the final product.” Kareena states, “I have done the cameo for Shabinaa and Sanjay. Both are very dear to me.”
