We have your first look at the Karwaan, featuring the amazing Irrfan Khan, Karwaan, as well as Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar. Directed by Akarsh Khurana and produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP, the film is slated to release on 3rd August.
A roller coaster ride of a film, it tells the story of Avinash, Shaukat and Tanya on an unexpected journey where each one finds redemption, hope, love and eventually themselves.
Here is something very interesting! Since this was a road trip between 3 strangers, the director wanted the actors to meet for the first time on location, “Dulquer, Irrfan and Mithila met for the first time on location in Ooty.”
Not only that this film was, contrary to normal film shooting schedules, filmed mostly chronologically. So the director says, “The actors’ relationships developed with that of the characters. This worked out quite well. You can see the comfort build through the movie, which may not have been something we could have devised authentically if we had not shot in sequence.”
From the trailer, we certainly cannot wait to see how this journey that promises to make us laugh and melt our hearts plays out!
