Katrina Kaif was apparently doing Siddharth Anand’s next under the Yash Raj banner and she was supposed to star opposite Ranbir Kapoor along with 3 other actresses, that include Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone & Minissha Lamba. Unexpectedly, YRF seems to be not so professional these days because they have chopped off her role from the film, as the film was getting very “lengthy”! Yash Raj Films spokesperson Monica Bhattacharya confirms that Katrina’s track has been taken out from Siddharth Anand’s untitled film, due to the fact that they had to rub out one girl’s character and she was the only one who has not shot for the film yet. In order to make it up to our dear Kats, they signed her for a lead role in Kabir Khan’s next project which will see her opposite John Abraham.
As a feather in her cap, Kat has signed one more project Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision’s next, Blue. Priyanka was supposed to do the film but as her character is opposite Akshay Kumar she decided to opt out to avoid rumors. Now Katrina has been penciled in for her fifth film with Akshay after Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Namastey London, Welcome and the forthcoming Singh Is Kinng. Singh Is Kinng has been preponed by one week and will now release on August 8th to avoid clashing with Goldie Behl’s Drona that is reportedly releasing on August 15th.
A rumor has it that Kat is refusing to work with boyfriend Salman Khan because she wants to work with different actors and has opted out of Vipul Shah’s London Dreams. Reports claim Sallu is keen to cast her opposite him in Anil Sharma’s Veer but it seems that he must continue his hunt for a leading lady for his film.
