Looks like the age old problem of “dates” has another victim. Katrina Kaif was considered for the role of leading lady for Superstar of the South Rajnikanth’s latest film, Kochadaiyaan. But due to her tight schedule, even aftertaking close to 20 day to try squeeze it in, prevented her from being apart of the film.
“Rajnikanth sir’s daughter Soundarya was in touch with me. But given my schedule for the next 10 months, we were unfortunately not able to coordinate dates with their technicians, who are being flown in from different parts of the world. The film is highly technical. You will understand when you watch it,” says the Mere Brother Ki Dulhan actress when contacted by Hindustan Times.
While she is open about why she is can’t do the film, the actress that is currently working Ek Tha Tiger, Yash Chopra’s yet untitled film, Dostana 2 and Dhoom 3, reaches out and says all the best, yet makes no comment about her replacement, Deepika Padukone.
