Dhoom 3 will see Katrina Kaif perform the most dangerous stunts ever by a leading lady in a Yashraj film.
Katrina Kaif, who had already been given 3 major action sequences to train for in Dhoom 3, has had more stunts added to the movie after Yashraj saw her action sequences in her upcoming movie Ek Tha Tiger.
A source close to the project told the media that Katrina would be the first leading lady in the Dhoom series to perform real stunts.
The source said, “If you look at the other Dhoom films the ladies Esha Deol, Bipasha Basu and Aishwarya Rai had no real stunts to perform. In Dhoom 3 Katrina was given at least three major action sequences for which she was to be specially trained. Now after Tiger, Yashraj is adding a couple of more action sequences which would be managed by a fleet of action co-ordinators.”
Aamir Khan who plays Katrina’s soul mate in the movie does not have as many action sequences as his co-actress. The source said that Aamir ‘plays a cool cerebral villain’ who is more ‘into the intellect than fists.’ Katrina is all set to play the ‘more fist-friendly character.’
Katrina Kaif will next be seen on the big screen in Ek Tha Tiger opposite Salman Khan. The romantic action thriller is set to release on 15th August 2012.
