Despite being constantly voted sexiest no.1 by her fans by an international magazine, Katrina Kaif insists she is not sexy. “It feels good to be voted for by my fans and that too in such huge numbers, but I don’t think if you wear a bikini or show skin, you look sexy,” she says, “I would rather say I’m pretty.”
Apparently confounding her own comments, Katrina looked startling at the Audi Q5 Launch Party at the India Bulls centre in South Mumbai. Wearing an off-the-shoulder blue tiered body-hugging dress with crisp black belt and shoes, she probably frustrated the organisers by constantly dragging people’s attention away from the car.
Katrina is still thrilled at being chosen as the model for the Indian Barbie and excited at the news that it will be making its appearance at Bloomingdale’s in New York as part of the doll’s 50th anniversary celebrations. “I’m thrilled!” she exclaims, “As a kid I used to play with Barbie dolls — which girl hasn’t? Almost every household has one. It’s every little girl’s dream companion.”
Now that the Bollywood strike is over, there are a whole slew of Katrina films to look forward to: New York with Irrfan Khan, John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh, who Katrina has described as ‘the cutest2; Rajniti with Ajay Devgan; Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani with Ranbir Kapoor; De Dhana Dhan with Akshay Kumar, Neha Dhupia and Sameera Reddy and finally 7 Days in Paris with Imran Khan
