If rumours are to be true, Katrina Kaif has bagged one of the leading roles in Farah Khan’s upcoming film Happy New Year. Katrina would be working with Shah Rukh Khan for a second time following Yash Chopra’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan. This news has arisen largely due to the fact that Hrithik Roshan is taking a break until Autumn, following his brain surgery to remove a blood clot. Apparently, it means that shooting for the Katrina-Hrithik starrer Bang Bang has been postponed until Hrithik fully recovers and has finished promoting his other film Krrish 3.
A source stated the following to a magazine about the news. “The casting director of the film had already finalised the other three ladies. But with Hrithik going for his sudden brain surgery, the equations changed and Kat came on board. She is completely free for the next three months. The film is going on the floors from September 5 onward and since they want around 40 days from Katrina, she can easily shoot the film through September and October.”
Will we see Katrina and Shah Rukh creating magic on screen for a second time? We will just have to wait and see!
