Katrina Kaif will be playing Seeta and Geeta in the remake of the film which originally starred Hema Malini. This will be the first time the actress plays a double role in her career thus far. Naturally comparisons to the dream girl are inevitable but this doesn’t seem to phase the actress who is determined to make her version of the remake more contemporary. The script is being written by Zoya Akhtar and will most likely be directed by Anees Bazmee.
Coming up for the actress is also Tees Marr Khan with Akshay Kumar, directed by Farah Khan and Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara which houses the likes of Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol and both Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar in special appearances.
