Kiran Rao is definitely on independent wife and director. She is currently in the midst of directing her debut movie named Dhobi Ghaat. The movie is being shot locally in Mumbai as she wanted to keep the movie as close to real life as possible. Post the dreadful terror attacks that occurred in Mumbai, her hubby and Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan suggested to wifey Kiran that she should use extra security while shooting in South Mumbai but she flatly say N-O! In her opinion, she didn’t need the extra security and it would just cause production costs to go sky rocketing high.
Kudos to you Kiran! We admire a woman who is not scared of anyone… including her hubby!
