Kirchiyaan is the first release of Royal Stag Mega Movies Large Short Films. It is a 13 min short film with all the trappings of a feature film. It has 2 songs. Violence. Drama. Emotions. Revenge. Sex. Corrupt cops. Bribing politicians. Warring friends. Old flames. Drugs. Everything Bollywood pot boilers are made of. It is a hallmark Sudhir Mishra Mishra. With Chitrangada Singh, Sushant Singh, Vipin Sharma and Manu Rishi. Faces that jump out from his many full length feature films. Sudhir says, “It hasn’t been easy to make this film. On the contrary it was more difficult to make this short film than most full-length feature films. Because there is no luxury of time, locations, budgets, etc. The story has to be gripping enough. Every second. It took more than 8 ideas and 9 drafts to arrive at the final screenplay. It’s been quite a journey.”
Manu Rishi has written the dialogues. The lyrics of Kirchiyaan has been penned by Sameer Anjaan and this happens to be his next poetry after the 6001st song in Inkaar. Shamir Tandon has composed both the songs, “Kirchiyaan” and “Meherbaan” in the film. It’s soulful and has Sudhir’s signature in the mood.
It will release on the biggest multiplex on earth: The Internet. Through www.largeshortfilms.com and facebook.com/largeshortfilms
It will release at 4pm on 31st January 2013. Another Thursday release after “The Last Act” release in December 2012.
