Kishore Lulla, Executive Chairman of Eros International plc, a leading global company in the Indian film entertainment industry was honored with the Entertainment Visionary Award at the 2015 Annual Gala Dinner organized by Asia Society Southern California on 20th June, 2015. As head of India’s biggest film studio, Kishore was recognized for being a game changer and for his efforts in taking Bollywood global. The Gala evening honored Kishore’s quest to connect the Indian diaspora through films and bridging of cultures by introducing Bollywood to non-Indian audiences.
Asia Society is a leading educational organization dedicated to promoting mutual understanding and strengthening partnerships among peoples, leaders and institutions of Asia and the United States in a global context. It is the only pan-Asian organization in Los Angeles organizing public and private programs to foster dialogue between Asians and Americans.

The gala event took place at the Hyatt Regency Plaza, Los Angeles and was attended by entrepreneurs, diplomats and ambassadors. It brought together prominent representatives across a range of sectors including art and culture, policy and business and education. Kishore Lulla joins the wall of fame along with some of the best names across fields including Viacom Executive Chairman – Sumner Redstone, Ming Hsieh – founder of Fulgent Therapeutics, Eli Broad – VIZIO founder William Wang, and NBA stars Yao Ming and Kobe Bryant.
