One film we have been eagerly awaiting to see more about is the upcoming Kochadaiiyaan The Legend! What is so cool about Kochadaiiyaan is that it is India’s first film that is being made with Performance Capturing with Photorealistic Technology. You have seen this technology and techniques used in films like Avatar and Tin Tin but from what we understand this state-of-the-art advanced technology transcends the CGI capabilities utilised in Hollywood films
Directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin, Kochadiiyaan stars The Superstar Rajnikanth and features the musical talents of master composer AR Rahman. Rajnikanth is cast as the archetypal superhero in the epic dramatisation of good versus evil.
About the film, Rajinikanth earlier has said, “It is a fantasy film on an Indian subject and matches the standards set internationally. It has got a very strong story, which has been done keeping international audiences in mind and will not only attract children but also people (adults and international audiences) who like films.”
Also starring in the film is Deepika Padukone who says, “Kochadaiiyaan is a period-fantasy love story.”
