If you thought Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor were a riot (that is debatable of course) then you are in for a real treat with Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan who take on Karan Johar on this week’s Koffee with Karan. The duo come on the show in time for the release of their film No One Killed Jessica and were beyond hilarious together. They came on individually to talk about their admiration for one another while they sat around acting like they were in love with another clearly spoofing Dostana.

Rani Mukherjee spoke heaps about her so-called sabbatical post Dil Bole Hadippa after she chose to take a no comment stance on her possible relationship with Aditya Chopra. Insisting that the media had married her off far too many times in past, she hoped 2011 would finally bring in wedding bells for her.

Vidya Balan on the other hand, after expressing her innate love for Karan Johar’s Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, explained how her backlash from the media regarding her fashion faux pas post Heyy Baby, gave her a totally different perspective on acting. In addition, she thanked directors like R. Balki and Vishal Bhardwaj for still taking her on and gracing her with fabulous roles like the ones she played in Paa and Ishqiya.

The Rapid Fire round saw a number of funky answers from the actresses. Rani Mukherjee chose not to include herself in the rat race and instead, called herself a “bitch” claiming that she stands on the sidelines instead of running. On the flip side, Vidya went on to diplomatically choose Parineeta as her best performance simply because it includes Paa. Winning the hamper, Vidya was all laughs but more than gracious to share the hamper with Rani.
