Shah Rukh Khan came solo on best friend Karan Johar’s show Koffee with Karan Season 3. And the reason for his alone act was simple: Karan wanted to “tap” into SRK on a one-on-one basis. He quickly dismissed his so-called silence and accredited it as simply being busy. Currently, the actor is working simultaneously on Ra.One and Don 2. Next, SRK spoke about his lack of friends in the industry. In fact, the actor claimed that he has no friends; his friends, he added, are chosen by his wife and the host, Johar. The actor took a sensitive turn as he spoke emotionally about losing friends, his parents and how it has affected his friendship making skills. In addition, he openly claimed that he has no pending issue with Farah Khan and they duo are incredibly cordial.
In the Rapid Fire Round, the actor found himself challenging the “couch and pillow.” His fiery and witty answers had Karan and viewers in splits as he spoke about choosing between Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra as choosing between sex and beauty and then went on to add that he wouldn’t like to date Deepika Padukone or Sonam Kapoor simply because he was afraid of the “bitching” session in a possible future Koffee with Karan session.
In a more emotional segment, Shah Rukh was taken back into memory lane as KJo displayed a number of scenes from his previous appearances on Koffee with Karan. SRK was clearly teary eyed and caused KJo to tear up too after he thanks him for being a friend and a director who has taken him in a number of films which has shaped his career.
Next week, Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan take over the couch as they talk all things No One Killed Jessica and more.
