This week, Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone joined Karan Johar on his infamous couch as they discussed their alleged rivalry and all things Bollywood. Arriving in a gold one sleeved dress, Sonam Kapoor went on to claim that herself and Deepika Padukone are in fact good friends. Admitting to hanging out at Spas and so on, both actresses laughed as they chatted with Karan.
They both went on to call out Ranbir Kapoor with Sonam letting Deepika know that she found it admirable that Deepika held on to Kapoor for so long. Later on, they spoke volumes about their individual issues with Shobhaa De. While Sonam called her “nasty”, Deepika went on to claim that she believed that she had nothing nice to say about anyone. And thus, their reactions pertinent to Shobhaa De was justified. When it came to matters of plastic surgery, the actresses both went on to clarify they were plastic free but couldn’t say the same about many actresses in the industry.
Deepika constantly denied her association with Siddharth Mallya while Sonam claimed she wouldn’t discuss her personal life or earnings in public. “It’s tacky,” she claimed. Their Rapid Fire rounds found them talking about all things controversial and Karan landed up gifting both of them each a basket.
