No, not 58 years old, but 58kg in weight! Apparently Lara Dutta, the former Miss Universe, has managed to maintain this weight ever since her debut in Bollywood. This has mightily impressed David Dhawan, the director of her next release on Oct. 2nd, Do Knot Disturb. “David calls Lara Perfect Miss 58 and is completely amazed how the actress has maintained 58 kilos for the last six years,” says a source, “Lara has one of the best figures in the showbiz and is also an amazing actress.”
Lara, currently working on the masala movie Housefull with Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Riteish Deshmukh and Jiah Khan, has two movies in quick succession in October. The first is Do Knot Disturb with Govinda and Sushmita Sen – and the second is the epic Blue with Akshay again, Sanjay Dutt and Zayed Khan, releasing for Diwali.
In Blue, Lara and Sanjay will be seen dancing with dolphins. “It was very difficult to shoot with the wild spotted dolphins and we had to travel overnight to Bimini to shoot with them,” explains director Anthony D’Souza, “It was well worth all the efforts as the outcome was spectacular! We were extremely lucky to find a cluster of them and the delightful tricks which the dolphins learnt especially for the song make for a visual treat.”
