On Christmas Eve some special children got a fabulous surprise. The Smile Foundation, a national level development organization, gifted its children a special time full of joy, hope and smiles with a special Santa. International celebrity dancer, Bollywood actor and first runner up of dance show Jhalak Dikhla Ja, Lauren Gottlieb joined the children as a Santa to make some Christmas magic.

With this special Christmas celebration for underprivileged children, Lauren Gottlieb was highlighting the message Be the Change that You want to see.

Delighted to be amongst the kids, Lauren expressed, “It is my first Christmas away from my family. I am missing my home and people very much so this is best way to celebrate Christmas amongst these children. With their innocence, warmth and smile I am feeling a part of their family. It feels great to be associated with Smile Foundation to be a reason for these kids to Smile.”

Acknowledging this Mr. Vikram Singh Verma, Chief Operating Officer Smile Foundation said, “Christmas is a festival of whishes, gifts and hopes for everybody, and especially for children. It is a wonderful gesture on part of Lauren Gottlieb to make our children feel special. We appreciate her for this gesture and participation.”

Smiling in her red Santa cap Lauren did a cake cutting with the kids and also distributed gifts to them. She also tapped feet with the Smile Foundation children. Lauren made her Bollywood debut with the movie ABCD. She also was much appreciated for her commendable performance in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Ja.
