Ranbir Kapoor has said that Bollywood goddess Madhuri Dixit was his first love, after having had the prestigious opportunity to dance alongside her for the song ‘Ghagra’ in his latest film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. “She was my first love and my heart broke when she got married. I was happy when I got the opportunity to dance with her and see her,” said Ranbir.
Ranbir also described how wonderful Madhuri was on the sets of the film, where she makes a rare appearance for the song. “She is sincere, passionate and talented. It was great working with her. She is wonderful.” Ranbir admitted that he bribed director Ayan Mukerji to permit him to kiss Madhuri on the cheek towards the end of the song.
Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani releases in cinemas worldwide on 31 May!
