On his father the legendary Krishna’s (Siva Rama Krishna Ghattamaneni) 77th birthday on 31 May, Mahesh Babu has announced his next Telugu film.
It is titled Sarkaaru Vaari Paata and will be directed by Parashuram who last directed Vijay Deverakonda in Geetha Govindham.
While the other major cast and credit details for this project are yet to be decided, sources close to Mahesh Babu exclusively shared some details about the content. “It is an action romance with lots of heart-in-the-mouth stunts of the kind never seen in Telugu cinema. Mahesh Babu was for long wondering what to do next after the superhit Sarileru Neekevvaru last year. Mahesh didn’t like the script that directors Sandeep Vanga and Vamshi Paidipally came up with. Finally Parashuram’s script grabbed Mahesh’s attention.”
About announcing the film on his father birthday Mahesh Babu told me exclusively, “It is a tradition. I’ve done this for many years now. I may be the people’s hero. But my true hero is my father.”
