Imran Khan, who was last seen in Break Ke Baad will be back on the big screen next month with his first 2011 release; Delhi Belly. Producing the film with Ronnie Screwala are Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao who apparently both knew from the first reading that this was a film they wanted to make.
Delhi Belly follows the story of three regular blokes, living the regular life EXCEPT for one small detail – they are on the hit list of one of the world’s deadliest crime syndicates. Will they be able to get away before the shit hits the roof and it comes crashing down? Delhi Belly – the meanest comedy you’re ever likely to see.
Imran Khan recently unveiled a promotional music video from the film called ‘Bhaag DK Bose’. The music video has already garnered over eight hundred thousand views, since its online premiere five days ago. The track has also become very popular amongst the youth due its catchy tune and lyrics.
The talk of the town is the genre of the track, punk mixed with Rock’n’Roll and the way Khan has performed it. Imran has taken on a ‘Rockstar’ avatar for the video. A source said: “The music video encapsulates three guys- with Imran essaying a rockstar. Vir Das and Kunal Kapoor are the other two guys in the video.”
Delhi Belly is directed by Abhinay Deo and will be released by UTV Motion Pictures on the 1st of July 2011 worldwide.
