Mallika Sherawat is getting ready to start a production company with her brother Vikram called Blue Velvet. The idea has been in the works for sometime and Sherawat is looking at scripts.
“Mallika has launched her banner Blue Velvet and is currently reading piles of scripts that she has received. She intends to support projects that she believes in. Many filmmakers have dropped their scripts at her office and from what we hear, up to 50 scripts are being scanned right now. Her brother Vikram will be looking at the financial aspects of the firm,” said a source
It is being reported that her banners’ first film will be Murli Nagavalli’s Fauj Mein Mauj with Sherawat playing the role of a cadet in the Indian army. It also stars Sahil Khan, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav.
But, when producer Ravi Walia heard of this he denied it, saying, “There is no truth in it. My film is being solely produced by me and I have no clue if Mallika is turning a producer or anything.”
It will be interesting to see which scripts Sherawat OKs’ and what her next move is going to be!
