Check it out we have cool news! Bollywood singer Mamta Sharma will be performing in the U.K for the first time this spring bank holiday. She is the super-hit singer of songs like ‘Munni badnaam hui’ (Dabaang), ‘Anarkali disco challi’ (Housefull 2) and ‘Fevicol se’ (Dabaang 2), amogst many others.
Titled ‘Badnaam Munni’, Mamta shot to instant fame with her very first song ‘Munni badnaam hui’ back in 2010, which won her numerous awards including the Filmfare award for Best Playback Singer.
Mamta will be joined by Indian Idol season 5 participant Yashraj Kapil. With his favourite singers being Sonu Nigam, KK, Shankar Mahadevan, Nusrat & Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, expect some soulful music from the young singer.
This is the first time Mamta will be performing live for the U.K audience on Sunday 25th May at Leicester’s De Montfort Hall.
