Celebrating Ajay Devgn’s birthday today, a special trailer for Maidaan has dropped. This look into the world of Maidaan focuses on Devgn’s character Coach Syed Abdul Rahim and features the many challenges that his Indian football team faced before rewriting history for Indian football.
Based on a true story, Maidaan is the journey of a true legend, football Coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who brought pride to India through his dedication and passion for his team, the sport and his nation. The film is story of an unknown hero who created history and records for India that even 60 years later, we are not able to match up to those accomplishments in the most played sport in the world,

Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Maidaan also features Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh. The film is all set to release worldwide in theatres this Eid, 2024 on 10th of April.
