Darvesh Singh aka Anupam Kher
Orthodox, strict and diciplined, Darvesh Singh is a man who believes in hardwork and simple living. Darvesh immigrated to Canada with his wife Livleen in the 1970s in search of a better life of opportunities. He sponsored his younger brother Sammy, and educated him. Even though Darvesh has spent a major part of his life in Canada, he still holds close to him his religion and cultural values and tries to enforce these within his household.
