Bollywood actress Minissha Lamba has filed an FIR with the Versova police with respect to an unknown abusive caller who keeps threatening her and sending her vulgar messages by text. “The accused sent her several vulgar and abusive SMSes using different mobiles,” said APC Dilip Suryavanshi, “He also threatened her over the phone. Lamba was troubled for the last three to four days.” It is believed that the abuser is well known to the police and may have been arrested following the complaint.
Meanwhile, Minissha is keen to prepare herself for a role in an all-action movie. She has been learning how to fire an automatic weapon. “In my previous action film Kidnap I did not get to do any stunts or action scenes while Imran Khan and Sanjay Dutt enjoyed doing all the stunts,” she explained, “I am a fearless person and I want to go through the same kind of adrenaline rush that they went through. I think it will be great fun being part of a genre that people associate with men.”
Minissha recently teamed up with Neha Dhupia and Mughda Godse to promote the new range of Gillette Mach 3 shaving products in India. As part of the campaign, the actresses have formed Women Against Lazy Stubble (WALS) which will bring women together to talk about their trouble with stubble in relation to husbands, boyfriends and so on. Perhaps Minissha has her good friend but stubble-bound Dino Morea in her sights? The two refer to each other as Min-Min and Din-Din.
