Mohit Ahlawat, the actor seen in Ram Gopal Varma’s Shiva and James has now signed a film with Aamir Khan.
The film is the Hindi version of Gajini, which was a Tamil blockbuster. Asin will recreate her original role for this film and Aamir will play opposite her. Ahlawat’s role is a pivotal role of a policeman in the yet untitled film.
Ahlawat told IANS: “Yes, I’ve been signed for the Hindi remake of Gajini. A.R. Murugadas, who directed the Tamil original, will direct it. For me the biggest thrill of doing this film is that I’ll be working with Aamir.”
The actor hopes the new film will be a good path to take in his career after leaving Ram Gopal Varma’s camp. He had many offers but wanted to wait for what he felt was the right project. “I didn’t want to make any wrong moves. Now I think I’m making all the right moves,” Ahlawat said.
