As we revealed earlier Akshay Kumar is once again gearing up to entertain audiences on the screen with Katrina Kaif in Sooryavanshi. Akshay and Katrina have previously starred in mega hits such as Namastey London, Welcome, Humko Dewaana Kar Gye and De Dana Dan And fans can’t wait to see them together again.
For the Rohit Shetty directed film, the fabulous jodi are recreating the iconic number ‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani’. The song, which was originally shot 25 years ago for the film Mohra starring Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon, remains a cult favourite even today. The new version will be choreographed by Farah Khan who previously choreographed the duo in the superhit song ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’.
The shooting of the song has already begun, and Katrina Kaif posted a behind the scenes picture with Akshay Kumar on her social media handle. The black and white picture has Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif with their heads wrapped in towels as they can be seen sharing a laugh. The picture is captioned as “Singing in the rain #sooryavanshi @akshaykumar @itsrohitshetty @farahkhankunder”.
Ace choreographer Farah Khan also posted a pic from the sets on Instagram with praise for Katrina. “Shooting with my darling katrinakaif .. her true beauty lies under the make up.. she can walk thru hell & still remain an angel.. i lov her n more importantly I Admire her♥️ ”
Katrina posted the same picture on Instagram writing , “Me and mummmmyyyyy together after soooooooo long ?love u the bestest best ❤️“
