Neil Nitin Mukesh
is just putting the finishing touches to his new movie Freeze opposite Bipasha Basu and then he’s zooming off to New York to work opposite Bips’ other half John Abraham and Katrina Kaif in a new Yash Raj production.

Neil, who definitely caught our attention in Johnny Gaddaar last year, will be flying to the States with his father, Nitin Mukesh. “Dad will be with me off and on,” he says, “But he’ll return to Mumbai for the Ganpati festival, which is a big thing in our home. Otherwise, we’ll both be in the US. I’ll be shooting and he’ll be doing his live concerts in various cities and joining me in New York whenever possible.”

Neil will also be seen starring soon in Madhur Bandarkhar‘s Jail, a tale of three prisoners. “It’ll be in the thriller format,” says Madhur, “I’ve been mulling the subject right from the time I made Chandni Bar. Jail is a film which shows life from a different perspective – the trials of life in jail. It is a thriller like all my experimental films that I have done like Chandini Bar, Traffic Signal and now Fashion I think this movie will definitely be hard hitting, entertaining and real.”

“Everytime Madhur puts new things in front of us and that impressed me,” said Neil Nitin Mukesh, “Jail is about a boy, Prakash Dixit, who is a normal middle class boy. Then all of a sudden circumstances land him in jail and what happens in jail and to him, is the story of this film.”
