Award-winning pop singer, composer and actor Ali Zafar follows up his popular hits Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Tere Bin Laden with the cross-continent romantic comedy LONDON PARIS NEW YORK starring opposite Aditi Rao Hydari (Rockstar) opening in North American theaters on March 2.

Vijay Singh, CEO Fox Star Studios India: “This coming-of-age comedy is a project that we are very excited about..it’s a step towards bringing something different to the romantic-comedy palette that will appeal to the youth…It speaks their language, reflects their aspirations and the angst and joys of falling in love. The music of the film is very special and will appeal to the heartbeat of the youth .. ”

Unlike most Bollywood films, for LPNY the soundtrack is completely composed by star Ali Zafar who says “I wanted to create sounds that are fresh and since the film touches on different emotions I could experiment with genres.” He used Pop -Romance in London – Electronic Sufi in Paris – Blues-rap in New York, all blended in with Indian true bollywood style. What is even more unique is that it also features its multi-talented stars Zafar and Hydari singing their own songs on the OST. That is pretty cool we think and can’t wait to hear the OST.

The love story, directed by Anu Menon, spans three countries and eight years capturing the angst of the twenties – the most dramatic period of one’s life – when you have to find a career, you have your first significant relationship and most importantly form your identity in this world.
