Very recently rumors were making serious rounds of Shilpa Shetty’s father urgently asking officials to release his passport, after a pending court case, as he had to make a trip to London for his daughter’s wedding! Of course, rumor mills went into overtime as Shilpa’s wedding details were starting to come out and just then the “bride” comes out to claim that all those rumors are false, “The passport is certainly not meant for my wedding, please! It’s not happening in October, November, December or any of the dates that have been fixed for my wedding in the media.” She added that when she was ready to take the plunge into marital bliss, she would announce it to the world and the media.
She clarified that her father’s passport was needed for a “family gathering” to celebrate beau Raj Kundra’s birthday, “It’s Raj Kundra’s birthday on September 9th. Our entire collective family will be bringing in the occasion at the Maldives. That’s what my dad needed his passport for.” With regards to her marriage, she went on to say, “There’s no reason on earth why Raj I wouldn’t want to get married at the earliest. At the moment we’ve our hands full with many new exciting ventures. We need get the space in our lives to plan and enjoy this wonderful event…Raj and I will announce the date from the rooftops and invite the entire press corps to be part of the baraat when it happens.” So no big fat shaadi for Shilpa as of yet; you’ll have to wait for that one!
