You can almost hear the bells ringing for the upcoming nuptials between Genelia D’Souza and Ritiesh Deshmukh. But with their hookup long rumored but only recently confirmed, there is bound to be some ups and downs. After this is B-town and we LOVE our masala. Yet pretty girl from Goa Geni, as called by close buds, says otherwise. Hell, a marriage wasn’t even on the books for the Force actress.

“Trust me I had not planned to marry in 2012. Things just fell into place. I am so happy and excited. And I am not nervous at all” says Genelia while speaking to Times of India and continues that “the decision to get married wasn’t taken in a day. There was no drama involved.”

Hmm, nice to know on screen drama didn’t hit the home front. Especially with the ‘almost marriage’ between her and John Abraham on the sets of Force. But yeh cinema hai boss and entertainment is on the menu. Even if it’s hookups, breakups or no ups. How does one handle such a tight lip about their beau. Genelia says its all in and for the foundation “Riteish and I took every day as it came. The relationship grew gradually. We decided that we would never jump around and be all over the place. Even today we are BFF (Best friends forever).” Point noted.

So with the whole of B-town preparing to wish the lovely couple, we await their much overdue return on screen together film Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya due out next month.
