The makers of Kaabil recently released a behind-the-scenes video wherein viewers can see Hrithik facing difficulties while doing action scenes. Director Sanjay Gupta and Kaabil‘s lead actor Hrithik Roshan both wanted the action sequences to look as instantaneous as possible. Therefore, no rehearsals were under taken prior to the shooting of the scenes. The actor shared that doing action sequences becomes even more difficult as he is playing a blind character.

“The action, of course, was difficult because I couldn’t make eye-contact, I didn’t know where the punch was coming from. I didn’t know where the ditch was over which I had to jump. I was aware that I could fall if I didn’t time my steps properly. I literally had to become Rohan and absorb the power that he has in the script,” Hrithik says in the video.

Director Sanjay Gupta said, “All the action sequences in Kaabil have been designed keeping in mind that the protagonist is visually impaired, has no super powers, is an average man, does not know any martial arts so it had to look as realistic as possible. The character is using his brains throughout the action sequences and that is visible in the making video as well. He is extremely resourceful and is on a mission for revenge, but at the same time, he does not know what is going to hit him and from where. A lot of homework has gone into these sequences by the action director, Shyam Kaushal.”

Rakesh Roshan’s Kaabil, starring Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam, is in cinemas now.
