Norway gets ready for Bollywood in Summer

Bollywood festival Norway ‘The Indian Dance and Film Festival’ is promoting Indian films and culture in Norway since 10 years. The purpose of the festival always has been promoting Indian films in the Norwegian country and this year by 8 films getting selected by the Norwegian National Television is one of the biggest achievement for the festival. It’s the time for some celebrations as the national television (NRK2) of Norway has chosen 8 Bollywood films.

All the credit goes to the hard work of Bollywood Festival Norway. Most of the selected films have been screened in the festival and through the festival these films were promoted in the country. Om Shanti Om, Namastey London, English Vinglish, Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara, Teri Meri Kahaani, Dabangg, Ra.One and Mausam would be telecasted every Saturday at 6pm on the National TV Channel.

Festival Director, Nasrullah Qureshi said, ‘We are happy to share the success with all the Bollywood film production houses, Directors and all those who have been giving constant support to the festival.’’

All films have Norwegian subtitles. It is warm up before the Bollywood festival 6th – 13th September 2013 at Lørenskog Hus & Cinema.
