Shiney Ahuja is finding the repercussions of his rape case is following him and causing a number of issues for him in his work area. The actor had barely been signed on for Bobby Bedi’s upcoming Shaunya and the lead actress, Vaishali Desai has walked out of the film and while she hasn’t openly claimed that the reason was Shiney Ahuja, sources claim the actress does not want to be in the same frame as the accused actor.
Adhyayan Suman was the initial actor being considered for the film but was later offered to Shiney Ahuja who immediately accepted. However, when Desai heard of the actor change, she say good bye and decided against the film. “She comes from a very conservative background and doesn’t want to be associated with Shiney. She reasoned that she wouldn’t be comfortable working with him. She thought it would be a bad move for her to be cast opposite him,” a source close to the actress claimed.
The Kal Kissne Dekha actress openly spoke about her walk out. “I have opted out of Shunya, and it’s because of some personal reasons I don’t wish to reveal. It’s true that the film was first offered to Adhyayan, but later on they decided to go ahead with Shiney.”
